The Amazing Festival (AF) is an afro-latin festival that
provides a unique experience – celebrating not only our
Zambian heritage, tourism and service excellence, but
inspires individuals to be Amazing in all they do.
The Amazing Festival is a four-day experience from the 15th
to 18th of August-2024 for Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba lovers
around the country and also internationally. The event is
dubbed ‘Vicfalls AfroLatin Experience’. We will have dance
workshops and social night parties.
Bachata dance is known for its love stories, and its
syncopated rhythm. The dance actually was born of the music
in the Dominican Republic during the 1960’s.
Kizomba is a new direction of latin dance culture that
originated in Angola in the 1980s under the influence of
French Creole music and African folk rhythms.
